One of the reasons Mount Taxis continues to be a leader in its field is as a result of its management team, with key management positions being held by family members thus allowing continuity in what is a volatile industry in terms of manpower.

The last eight years has seen the company take massive strides in terms of technology in order to improve its service. The introduction of a computerised system has proved very effective in the dispatch and booking of all work.

All drivers are required by Kirklees Metropolitan Council to pass a Hackney Carriage Test; they are all given a police check and required to attend Driver/Safety/Disabled seminars before a Hackney Badge is issued.

Vehicle Maintenance

You can rest assured that all vehicles are maintained to the highest quality. All taxis have to have a license to operate and we do our utmost to make sure all vehicles comply.

All vehicles are serviced and checked by our own qualified mechanic at our specially equipped garage, so as to maintain a high standard of quality vehicle.

Environmentally Friendly

We are at the moment looking in to running some of our vehicles on L.P.G. (Gas) which is kinder to the environment. We have some vehicles running on Gas as a trial, with a view to converting more vehicles in the near future. We like to think we are doing something good for the environment.
